How to choose Slavery-free Chocolate

Many child slaves are in Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, Africa. You can help free them by buying just one kind of chocolate: the ones that do not use slavery in any of their supply chains.

You don’t have to sign up for anything, you don’t have to pay anything, you don’t have to join a group. It’s simple: buy only chocolate without slavery.

How will you know if it’s chocolate without slavery? So far, the only confirmed chocolate without slavery is Camino. We are working at confirming others.

You could: look for the Fairtrade logo

You might ask the manager of the store if they offer chocolate made without slavery; the more people who ask, the more the message will get to the chocolate sellers that it is important to offer slave-free chocolate choices You might want to let your friends and family know about a chocolate choice that makes the difference.
